Les m\u00e9dias jouent un r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 dans ce processus : ils doivent informer, \u00e9clairer, contr\u00f4ler - et non endoctriner. Ils sont le quatri\u00e8me pilier officieux de la s\u00e9paration des pouvoirs.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mais si tous les grands m\u00e9dias parlent d&rsquo;une seule voix, si la contradiction n&rsquo;a plus lieu d&rsquo;\u00eatre, si les points de vue alternatifs sont diffam\u00e9s ou censur\u00e9s, alors l&rsquo;objectif n&rsquo;est plus d&rsquo;informer - mais de contr\u00f4ler.  <strong>C&rsquo;est alors que commence la transition vers la dictature.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&rsquo;uniformisation ne signifie pas seulement la censure gouvernementale. Elle peut \u00e9galement r\u00e9sulter du pouvoir \u00e9conomique, de r\u00e9seaux id\u00e9ologiques, de d\u00e9pendances politiques ou d&rsquo;une autocensure silencieuse. La cons\u00e9quence est la m\u00eame : <strong>les citoyens ne re\u00e7oivent plus la v\u00e9rit\u00e9, mais un r\u00e9cit orchestr\u00e9.<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Exp\u00e9riences historiques<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&rsquo;histoire fournit des exemples terriblement clairs :<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sous le Troisi\u00e8me Reich, tous les journaux ind\u00e9pendants ont \u00e9t\u00e9 interdits ou mis au pas. Joseph Goebbels a dit : <em>\u00ab La libert\u00e9 de la presse, c&rsquo;est la libert\u00e9 pour 200 personnes riches de diffuser leur opinion \u00bb.<\/em> Et il entendait par l\u00e0 les forcer \u00e0 adopter une seule opinion. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>En RDA, la presse, la radio et la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision \u00e9taient directement contr\u00f4l\u00e9es par le Politburo. Critiquer le gouvernement \u00e9tait un d\u00e9lit. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dans les d\u00e9mocraties modernes, l&rsquo;uniformisation se fait de mani\u00e8re plus subtile - par le biais de r\u00e8gles linguistiques, de syst\u00e8mes d&rsquo;incitation, de lobbying, de \u00ab fact checkers \u00bb, de contr\u00f4le des algorithmes et de lignes \u00e9ditoriales contr\u00f4l\u00e9es par les politiques.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Signes de l&rsquo;uniformisation actuelle<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Toujours les m\u00eames slogans dans tous les grands journaux.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diffamation des dissidents en les qualifiant de \u00ab\u00a0conspirationnistes\u00a0\u00bb, d'\u00a0\u00bbennemis de la d\u00e9mocratie\u00a0\u00bb ou de \u00ab\u00a0droite\u00a0\u00bb.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Silence total sur les critiques scientifiquement fond\u00e9es des d\u00e9cisions politiques.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Des liens personnels et financiers \u00e9troits entre la politique, les entreprises de m\u00e9dias et les grands groupes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>D\u00e9pendance de nombreux m\u00e9dias vis-\u00e0-vis des subventions gouvernementales ou des campagnes publicitaires.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pourquoi c&rsquo;est dangereux<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Si les m\u00e9dias ne font plus de reportages critiques, mais prot\u00e8gent une ligne gouvernementale ou des int\u00e9r\u00eats \u00e9conomiques, la population perd la possibilit\u00e9 de prendre des d\u00e9cisions \u00e9clair\u00e9es.  <strong>Une d\u00e9mocratie sans diversit\u00e9 m\u00e9diatique est comme un corps sans syst\u00e8me immunitaire - vuln\u00e9rable \u00e0 toute forme de manipulation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Et l\u00e0 o\u00f9 il n&rsquo;y a plus de contr\u00f4le, il y a abus de pouvoir.
