only from the people."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Explanation and justification<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The history of mankind is also the history of violence &#8211; and its monopolization.<br\/>States have appropriated the <strong>sole monopoly on the use of force<\/strong> for centuries on the grounds that they wanted to guarantee order, security and stability.<br\/>But in truth, this monopoly on the use of force has been <strong>abused time and again<\/strong>:<br\/>For oppression, for discipline, for counterinsurgency, for warfare &#8211; against other peoples and their own.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This truth became particularly apparent in 2020 &#8211; painfully, but unmistakably:<br\/>Police units beating peaceful demonstrators.<br\/>Military deployed against their own people.<br\/>Threats of punishment against doctors, teachers, fathers of families.<br\/>Courts protecting power, not the people.<br\/>And all in the name of health, order and protection.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>But who protects the people from an overreaching state?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The lesson of history<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In those countries where the people were also physically able to defend themselves &#8211; such as in the USA with its 2nd Amendment -,<br\/>governments remained more restrained.<br\/>The state knew that <strong>it must no longer oppose the citizen as an enemy.<\/strong><br\/>For the weapon that could subjugate him is not only in the hands of power &#8211; <strong>but also in the hands of the sovereign<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What needs to change<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A new social contract for a peaceful future must not be based on the state&#8217;s monopoly on the use of force &#8211;<br\/>but on <strong>the responsibility of free citizens.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The state should not possess weapons to target its own people.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>However, citizens may and must have the right to protect themselves, their family, their community and their country &#8211; even against an overbearing government if necessary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Because only those who can defend themselves are free.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Our position<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We2030 says:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Violence must never again come from the state.<br\/>It must only come from the people &#8211; <strong>not as an attack, but as the last line of defense against injustice<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We demand the end of state armed power &#8211; and the return of responsibility to free society.<br\/>Not to provoke violence, but to <strong>make<\/strong> violence <strong>unnecessary.<\/strong><br\/>Because no regime will be overbearing if it knows that power lies with the people &#8211;
