There is talk of \u201cprotecting health\u201d, \u201cprotecting democracy\u201d, \u201cprotecting public order\u201d. But what if this \u201cprotection\u201d is not based on education, participation and freedom &#8211; but on coercion?  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Coercion<\/strong> means that people have no choice. They are forced to do something against their will &#8211; be it through laws, punishments, social ostracism or physical violence. They lose control over their bodies, their opinions and their decisions.  <br\/><strong>That is by definition: violence.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The dangerous reinterpretation<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is a dangerous linguistic trick to reinterpret coercion as care. Because this legitimizes violence &#8211; no longer as an exception, but as a supposed duty. Those who \u201ccompulsively protect\u201d do not protect &#8211; they rule. And anyone who resists this \u201cprotection\u201d is criminalized, pathologized or morally devalued.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Examples from the recent past:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Compulsory vaccination under the pretext of the common good, although medical freedom is a fundamental right.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Banning opinions under the pretext of \u201cprotection against disinformation\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Movement or occupational bans on the grounds of \u201cinfection protection\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compulsory measures in schools, clinics and the workplace without individual risk assessment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These measures were not sold as violence, but as \u201cnecessary\u201d &#8211; and yet they have disenfranchised, divided and traumatized people.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Legal and ethical principles<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <strong>Universal Declaration of Human Rights<\/strong> guarantees the right to physical integrity, freedom of expression and freedom of choice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>German Basic Law<\/strong> declares human dignity to be the highest norm &#8211; coercion contradicts this dignity if it is not used in the context of genuine self-defense.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In <strong>medical ethics<\/strong>, the principle of <em>informed consent<\/em> applies &#8211; no one may be forced to undergo an intervention.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coercion therefore not only contradicts ethical principles &#8211; it destroys trust, personal responsibility and social coherence.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What real protection means<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">True protection is based on:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Clarification instead of threats<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Voluntariness instead of obligation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Respect instead of paternalism<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dialog instead of control<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Only those who can decide freely can live in true safety.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our position<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We2030 stands for a society in which people are treated as responsible beings &#8211; not as objects of state control or therapeutic omnipotence.<br\/>Coercion destroys trust.<br\/>Coercion destroys community.<br\/>Coercion destroys freedom.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Coercion is not care &#8211; coercion is violence.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Explanation and justification In modern societies, state or institutional action is often legitimized with the term \u201cprotection\u201d.
