{"id":763,"date":"2025-05-19T15:05:08","date_gmt":"2025-05-19T12:05:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wir2030.com\/2025\/05\/19\/thesis-51-power-needs-limitation-not-freedom\/"},"modified":"2025-05-26T13:16:27","modified_gmt":"2025-05-26T10:16:27","slug":"thesis-51-power-needs-limitation-not-freedom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wir2030.com\/en\/2025\/05\/19\/thesis-51-power-needs-limitation-not-freedom\/","title":{"rendered":"Thesis 51: Power needs limitation &#8211; not freedom."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Explanation and justification<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Freedom is not the risk &#8211; power is.<\/strong><br\/>But in times of crisis, fear or uncertainty, precisely the opposite happens:<br\/>Suddenly, freedom is to be restricted, controlled, conditioned &#8211; <strong>while power is always claiming new freedoms<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This thesis reverses the relationship:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>It is not freedom that needs to be limited &#8211; but power.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why power is dangerous &#8211; if it remains uncontrolled<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It tends towards self-preservation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is expanding under the guise of protection<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It uses exception rules for normalization<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It supplants the separation of powers with bureaucracy and technocracy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It censors, sanctions, controls<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>History shows: Every form of totalitarianism grew out of unchecked power &#8211; not out of too much freedom.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why freedom is not the problem<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It creates responsibility<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It enables diversity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It allows for error and knowledge<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It protects the individual against collectivism<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is a <strong>basic condition<\/strong> for truth, creativity and humanity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Our position<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We2030 demands:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Strict limitation of state, economic and technocratic means of power<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Restoring the <strong>separation of powers and parliamentary control<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Consistent reduction of all emergency and special regulations<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Protecting freedom &#8211; not just on paper, but in everyday life<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Power needs limits &#8211; not freedom.<\/strong><br\/>Anyone who confuses this opens the door to arbitrariness.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Explanation and justification Freedom is not the risk &#8211; power is.But in times of crisis, fear or uncertainty, precisely the opposite happens:Suddenly, freedom is to be restricted, controlled, conditioned &#8211; while power is always claiming new freedoms.
