Informers are a sign of the rule of fear.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This thesis is a clear plea:<br\/><strong>For courageous revelation &#8211; against secret denunciation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What is a whistleblower?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A whistleblower is someone who:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>makes public serious abuses in organizations or governments,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>does not<\/strong> act <strong>out of self-interest<\/strong>, but in the public interest,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>often takes great personal risks,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>contributes to transparency and control &#8211; e.g. by uncovering corruption, abuse of power, misuse of data, lies or violence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Examples such as <strong>Edward Snowden<\/strong>, <strong>Chelsea Manning<\/strong>, <strong>Julian Assange<\/strong> or numerous doctors, scientists and journalists since 2020 show:<br\/><strong>Without whistleblowers, there would be no functioning democracy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What is an informer?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An informer, on the other hand, is someone who:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>secretly collects information about other people,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>passes this information on to governmental or institutional bodies,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>contributes to the surveillance, discipline or exclusion of others,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>is often motivated by reward, blackmail or fear.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Spying systems can be found in totalitarian regimes &#8211; from the Gestapo and the Stasi to modern technocratic models with <strong>digital denunciation<\/strong>, <strong>chat controls<\/strong>, <strong>vaccination status reports<\/strong> and <strong>social scoring<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why this distinction is crucial<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Whistleblowers strengthen democracy<\/strong> &#8211; they make hidden injustice visible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Informers destroy trust<\/strong> &#8211; they turn neighbors into enemies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Whistleblowers uncover abuse of power.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Informers serve to maintain power through fear and control.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A society that persecutes whistleblowers and at the same time promotes spying <strong>has reversed its values.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Our position<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We2030 demands:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Legal protection and social recognition for whistleblowers<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The end of all spying systems<\/strong> &#8211; whether state, school, digital or medical<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dealing with denunciation campaigns<\/strong> since 2020 (e.g. against unvaccinated people, critics of measures, doctors with dissenting opinions)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Every society needs whistleblowers &#8211; not informers.<\/strong><br\/>Those who inform deserve protection.
