They are <strong>constitutional shields<\/strong>, erected against the arbitrariness of the majority, against state encroachment and against the tyranny of public opinion.<br\/>They have been won over centuries &#8211; not so that people can do \u201cthe right thing\u201d, but so that they <strong>can freely decide what they think is right.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a free society, everyone has the right to <strong>think differently, speak differently and live differently<\/strong> &#8211; even if it displeases others. It is precisely <strong>this discomfort that is the touchstone of freedom.<\/strong> Because freedom does not mean uniformity, but diversity. Not obedience, but personal responsibility. Not moral conformity, but legal equality.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, modern societies are increasingly falling into a dangerous relapse:<br\/><strong>They are replacing law with morality<\/strong>. And not by individual ethics, but by a <strong>state-mediated, collectively enforced moral order<\/strong> that dictates what is \u201csolidary\u201d, \u201cresponsible\u201d, \u201creasonable\u201d, \u201cgood\u201d or \u201cright\u201d.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Those who do not submit to this will no longer be prosecuted &#8211; but <strong>socially destroyed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How morality becomes a tool of censorship<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When freedom rights are linked to morality, a dangerous mechanism is created:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Anyone who criticizes is considered \u201clacking in solidarity\u201d &#8211; regardless of content or argument.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Those who do not bow down are stigmatized as \u201cinhuman\u201d or \u201cradical\u201d.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Anyone who insists on the constitution is labeled a \u201cdenier\u201d, \u201ctroublemaker\u201d or \u201cright-wing extremist\u201d.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Those who demand freedom are charged with guilt &#8211; not for breaking the law, but for \u201clacking empathy\u201d.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Opinion leaders decide instead of courts.<br\/>Instead of legal bases, emotion and outrage dominate.<br\/>Instead of differentiated argumentation, moral pressure, emotionalized and amplified by the media, applies.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This does not make a society more enlightened &#8211; but more authoritarian.<br\/><strong>Not despite, but because of its moral claim.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why this is dangerous<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">History teaches us that <strong>whenever morality was placed above the law, exclusion, oppression and violence were the result &#8211; even in the name of good.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Inquisition followed \u201cdivine law\u201d, not the law.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>National Socialism legitimized itself through \u201cpublic health\u201d, not through constitutional principles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The GDR invoked \u201csocialist morality\u201d, not freedom of opinion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are also seeing a <strong>return of such structures<\/strong> today <strong>&#8211; under a different sign<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Those who speak out against war, coercive measures or corporate power <strong>often do not lose their freedom in court &#8211; but their social existence.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Blocking platforms, terminating banks, firing employers &#8211; not for criminal offenses, but for \u201cdeviant attitudes\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Entire debates are suppressed, <strong>not because they are illegal, but because they appear \u201cmorally unacceptable\u201d.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This <strong>not only relativizes the law<\/strong>, but also <strong>perverts morality<\/strong>. Because when morality becomes an instrument of power, it loses its human dimension &#8211; and becomes a weapon.<\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Our position<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We2030<\/strong> stands for a liberal society in which <strong>the law takes precedence over morality &#8211; not because morality is unimportant, but because it is subjective.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Freedom is not a reward for good behavior<\/strong> &#8211; but the prerequisite for people to be able to act morally at all.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rights apply regardless of opinion, attitude or sympathy.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Morality should inspire the law &#8211; but never replace it.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Morals change with the spirit of the times, but the law protects against them.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Those who place morality above freedom sacrifice the individual to the collective.<br\/>Those who replace justice with conviction do not create progress &#8211; but a new dogma.<br\/>And those who believe they can silence others in the name of good have <strong>not understood freedom &#8211; and have forgotten history.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Morality is no substitute for civil liberties.<\/strong><br\/>And anyone who confuses the two is destroying both.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Explanation and justification Freedom rights are not just beautiful ideals.
