It is not a bonus, not a reward for conformist behavior, not an exemption in times of crisis. <br\/><strong>Freedom is what a person is entitled to from birth &#8211; not by contract, but by dignity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was not created by decrees, constitutions or parliaments. All these institutions merely <em>recognized<\/em> what was already in place: <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That every human being is born as a free being &#8211; thinking, feeling, acting, responsible.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This freedom can be <em>restricted<\/em> by force, by ideology, by bureaucracy or by fear &#8211;<br\/>but it can never be legally \u201cbestowed\u201d.<br\/>For what a person possesses by nature cannot belong to anyone &#8211; not to the state, not to the majority, not to the system.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This thesis is a reminder of the foundation of all human rights:<br\/><strong>Freedom is not negotiable. It is unavailable. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What true freedom means<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">True freedom is more than freedom of movement or the right to vote. It is the basis for dignity, development and encounters.<br\/>It is the <em>space<\/em> in which people can be human in the first place. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Freedom means:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>the right to decide for yourself<\/strong> what you think, believe, say and do &#8211; without fear of censorship or punishment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>the opportunity to shape their own lives<\/strong> &#8211; independent of state paternalism or economic coercion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>the foundation for responsibility<\/strong> &#8211; because only those who are free can act morally.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>protection against arbitrariness<\/strong> &#8211; not the absence of rules, but the existence of fair, comprehensible, proportionate laws.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Freedom is therefore not chaos &#8211; it is the opposite of tyranny.<br\/>It is not selfishness &#8211; but the prerequisite for community at eye level.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anyone who says: \u201cFreedom has to be earned\u201d has not understood the essence of freedom.<br\/><strong>Because freedom that has to be earned is not freedom.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The dangerous idea: \u201cFreedom is only for the good\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In recent years, a narrative has become socially acceptable that should really have no place in democracies:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cIf you get vaccinated, you get your freedom back.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cThose who adapt are allowed to travel, party and work again.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cFreedom is only for the obedient.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What is happening here is nothing other than <strong>political blackmail<\/strong>.<br\/>Because the message behind it is:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYou can only be yourself if you do what we ask.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is not freedom &#8211; this is conditioning.<br\/>Not democracy &#8211; but trained conformity.<br\/>Not law &#8211; but psychological coercion in the name of the common good.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is the opposite of what the Enlightenment, the human rights movement and all freedom-loving cultures have ever advocated.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Freedom as a reward? An abuse with a history <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The idea that the state can \u201cdistribute\u201d freedom like bread is not new.<br\/>It was systematically used in totalitarian regimes:<\/p>\n\n<ul style=\"border-width:5px\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Under National Socialism<\/strong>, \u201cbehavior that conformed to the people\u201d was rewarded with benefits &#8211; travel, education, prestige. Deviation led to repression. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>In the GDR<\/strong>, freedom was selective: those who were loyal were allowed to travel or study. Those who thought critically were monitored, sanctioned or imprisoned. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>In the \u201cwar on terror\u201d<\/strong>, fundamental rights were systematically restricted &#8211; under the promise of gaining \u201csecurity\u201d as a result.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>In the wake of corona<\/strong>, civil liberties have been transferred to a system of conditions and rewards: Vaccinated? Then you can travel. Recovered? Then you get your \u201cbasic rights\u201d back.   <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In all these cases, freedom became a <strong>currency<\/strong>, a <strong>tool of control<\/strong> &#8211; and thus an <strong>illusion<\/strong>.<br\/>But a freedom that has to be \u201cearned back\u201d was never really gone &#8211; it was just arbitrarily taken away.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What happens when freedom is treated as a privilege?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The social consequences of this error in thinking are far-reaching &#8211; and dangerous:<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The state decides who is \u201cworthy\u201d.<\/strong><br\/>Freedom is no longer assumed, but assigned &#8211; according to obedience, loyalty or conformity. The state becomes the \u201callocation office\u201d of dignity. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>People are divided into groups.<\/strong><br\/>There are the \u201cgood\u201d and the \u201cdeviant\u201d, the \u201csystemically relevant\u201d and the \u201cunsolid\u201d. That promotes enemy stereotypes &#8211; not understanding. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fundamental rights lose their universality.<\/strong><br\/>What is actually everyone&#8217;s right becomes a bargaining chip. This undermines the moral basis of the rule of law. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Arbitrariness replaces proportionality.<\/strong><br\/>What is permitted no longer depends on objective standards &#8211; but on mood, pressure and power relations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Responsibility is replaced by obedience.<\/strong><br\/>Instead of ethical consideration, the only thing that counts is following instructions. The responsible citizen becomes an object of the administration. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A society that gives freedom as a reward trains its citizens to be submissive.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Freedom doesn&#8217;t need permission &#8211; it needs courage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Freedom is uncomfortable. It is risky. It means that people are allowed to make mistakes &#8211; and have to take responsibility for them.<br\/>But that is precisely the essence of responsibility.<br\/>Freedom does not require chaos, but character.<br\/>No compulsion, but attitude.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a free society:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the state is the <strong>servant of freedom<\/strong> &#8211; not its distributor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>laws are <strong>tools of protection<\/strong> &#8211; not of discipline.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the citizen is <strong>the subject of history<\/strong> &#8211; not the object of an order.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deviation is <strong>not a threat<\/strong>, but part of the dialog.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Freedom is not comfortable &#8211; but it is the only thing that makes us human.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The ethical imperative: freedom for all &#8211; or for none<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Freedom is not a partial quality.<br\/>It is either universal &#8211; or it is abolished.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A state that applies fundamental rights selectively has abandoned the principle of human dignity.<br\/>A system that defames dissenting opinions as \u201cunsupportive\u201d or \u201cdangerous\u201d has abandoned democratic discourse.<br\/>A society that has to buy or earn its rights is not free &#8211; it is functionally controlled.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is no freedom for the majority if the minority is disenfranchised.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Freedom applies especially in a crisis &#8211; or it never applies.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Our position &#8211; We2030<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We2030<\/strong> stands for unconditional, indivisible, non-negotiable human freedom &#8211; as the basis of all human coexistence.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We say:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>No to reducing freedom to reward systems<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>No to the selective deprivation of fundamental rights<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>No to the idea that the state can \u201cdispose\u201d of freedom<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We demand:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>the restoration of the unconditional validity of fundamental rights and freedoms<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>a ban on all instruments that condition or digitally monitor civil liberties<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>a political and legal reappraisal of all measures<\/strong> through which people have unlawfully lost their freedom<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Freedom is not a privilege.<br\/>Freedom is a birthright.<br\/>And a society that forgets this has not become safer &#8211; but more dangerous.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Freedom is the beginning &#8211; not the end<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Freedom is not something you \u201cachieve\u201d at the end of a development.<br\/>It is the condition for everything that makes humanity possible:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>for love<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>for creativity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>for responsibility<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>for dialog<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>for error<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>for forgiveness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>for knowledge<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>for development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where there is no freedom, there is no humanity &#8211; only conformity.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is why this thesis is more than just a legal demand.<br\/>It is an <strong>ethical commitment<\/strong>, a <strong>civilizational emergency call<\/strong>, a <strong>cultural turning point<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Explanation and justification Freedom is not a gift granted by the state.
